One Year Family Photo Fun Pit at Gymnastics A Natural Gotcha Day Fun Mama's New Log Home OUCH!!! Today marks Dexter's one year as an American citizen. One year ago we boarded a plane in Kiev on our way to Austria before landing in Chicago. It was a long day for all of us. For Dexter the excitement of his first plane ride. For Chris and I, the excitement of settling in at our home as a family. We all have come a long way since Ukraine. In celebration of our 1st Anniversary, we have invited our families out to our house for a Ukrainian dinner. I prepared Borsch Soup and Varenyky, some of the dishes we enjoyed during our stay in Ukraine. Dexter also started gymnastics today. He really had a good time. His teacher said he was a natural. Well of course I could not get this to post earlier. The families have come and gone. Everyone enjoyed the food.

We are getting ready to take Dexter for his surprise day. Going to go stay at a hotel and go swimming. He has talked about swimming ev...
